New Glasses Study for Nearsighted Children

Book Online

Is your child nearsighted (myopic)?

Bellaire Family Eye Care is conducting a research study using spectacle lenses (glasses) in children with nearsightedness.

If your child is 6 to 8 years old and has symptoms of nearsightedness, they may be eligible to participate. Common symptoms of nearsightedness include blurry vision, the need to squint or to move closer to see things clearly.

Study related procedures and glasses will be provided at no charge. Study participants will also receive compensation for their time.

Contact Dr. Ashley Tucker at 713-664-8087 or tucker@bfeye.com to learn more about this study.

Safeguard Your Child’s Future Vision

Myopia, or nearsightedness, can progress rapidly during childhood, resulting in a stronger eyeglass prescription every year. Explore MiSight contact lenses and our myopia management program at Bellaire Family Eye Care to preserve your child’s vision and eye health.

We are proud to share that our practice was recently honoured as the second largest MiSight lens fitter in the country!
